Motor Yacht Ilona. ILONA IV is the largest of the four yachts and was the inspiration of Amels shipyard Redman Whitely Dixon and the owner personally. Ilona was launched by Amels in 2004 to a design by Redman Whiteley Dixon and turned many heads with her special helicopter garage in the aft deck.
She is powered by engines of 2635 hp each giving her a maximum speed of 16 knots and a cruising speed of 15 knots. Yacht Ilona was launched by Amels in Makkum the Netherlands and she has also refitted in 2006 and subsequently in 2012. This adds up to a gross tonnage of 1836 tons.
She had a hangar where is now a pool.
Max Speed 16 Kn. Her construction took place in Netherlands. Ilona is a well-traveled yacht extensively photographed from Europe to the Far East which is not surprising as her owner is an experienced yachtsman. The 82m Ilona yacht was built in 2004 by Amels.
